Donate as a group

Effort: Medium | Time: 3-6 hours

If you can get a group together to donate blood, well, you’ve got yourself an Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Team. Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Teams is a way for friends, colleagues, teammates, and communities to band together and give blood. Whether you’re from a big organisation, small business, university, sports club, social club or with friends, whether you’re a group of 5 or 500 - nothing beats the feeling of saving lives together.

Steps to take action

  1. Be a Champion. Every team needs a leader, right? Australian Red Cross Lifeblood calls their team leaders ‘Champions’ because that’s what they are. They fly the flag for blood donation in their community and organise their team to donate blood.
  2. Contact us to find out more about forming your Lifeblood team. You’ll have access to tools and resources to help recruit new members, including promotional materials, posters, brochures and more. Feel great knowing you’ll give something truly special, life!
