Improving your knowledge and skills in Mental Health First Aid is a great way to make a difference to your community by increasing the amount of support available to those around you. You’ll learn how to assist those who are at risk of, or experiencing an existing mental health problem.

Steps to take action

  1. Search for Red Cross Mental Health First Aid courses in your local area and book yourself into a course.
  2. Do any pre-course learning and attend the online and face-to-face sessions for your chosen course.
  3. Encourage other people to complete Mental Health First Aid training, or to use the resources below to improve their Mental Health First Aid knowledge and skills.
